Frequently asked questions

Good to know before we start

What is coaching?

Serious psychological coaching is aimed exclusively at healthy people, to support them with private or professional challenges. Within the coaching process, problematic behaviours that trouble the coachee and limit them on the way to their goals or in everyday life are worked through systematically. In coaching at EVOQUE, we look together at the root of the problem and create a lasting, healthy change in behaviour with the help of psychologically grounded and scientific methods.

More about coaching
What does EVOQUE stand for?

EVOQUE stands for successful, long-term change in behaviour. Step by step, we let go of harmful behavioural patterns together and replace them with positive habits that bring success. EVOQUE stands for the sustainability with which a long-term change in behaviour endures – and for your personal development, which is awakened and grows within you throughout the coaching.

How long does a coaching process take?

You can choose between different package options. You have the choice between 12, 25 and 40 sessions. As a rule, you can expect 12 sessions to take about 3 months, 25 sessions about 6 months and 40 sessions about 1 year, since the process also includes breaks between sessions for your own reflection and for practising the techniques. Which duration suits your individual topic is something we can explore together in the first call. There are lighter and deeper topics that differ in how much time they need. If you are unsure, you can also start with the smallest package (12 sessions) to get to know the process. We can increase your number of sessions individually if needed.

Does coaching take place online or in person?

Both are possible! Many coaching processes run flexibly online, while individual in-person meetings can also be worthwhile. We discuss this in the intro call. Together we look at what fits best into your everyday life.

What does coaching at EVOQUE cost?

The price depends on the amount of time involved. As a rule, larger packages become cheaper per session, since the time for preparation and follow-up decreases the better I get to know a client. Prices are gladly sent on request, but at the latest discussed transparently in the first call.

Request prices
What does the price include?

There are fixed prices for the packages. These cover the preparation and follow-up of the sessions, the coaching sessions of the respective package and all interim and results reports. Supervision is part of the coaching but is not charged to the coachee. The price is discussed transparently before we start – there are no unexpected costs.

How do I know whether coaching is right for me?

Coaching is generally suitable for any problem that is not psychotherapeutically relevant. In coaching you learn techniques and tools for reaching your goals and how to work on your behaviour independently. These techniques are especially valuable if you have been trying to change a behaviour or reach a goal for a long time without success so far. Even with short-term problems, support is helpful so the issue does not turn into a deep-seated behaviour. The earlier a bad habit is addressed, the easier it is to turn it into a positive one. So do not hesitate to seek support when you need it!

What if I want to stop the coaching?

If you notice early on that the collaboration does not feel right for you, I ask you to raise this without delay.

Can I also take the coaching in English?

Yes! Coaching is available in both German and English.

Do I receive a results report on my progress after the coaching ends?

Yes! You receive a comprehensive overview of all your progress, your development steps and your learning steps within the coaching. On request, a certificate of the completed coaching can be issued for your employer.

What if my topic still persists after the coaching ends?

First, I encourage you to try out the tools and techniques you have learned on your own. Lasting change is a continuous process and cannot be achieved overnight. If after a few weeks you would like further support, you can take up coaching again at any time – with the same or different topics!

How does psychotherapy differ from coaching?

Coaching is explicitly not suitable for the treatment or cure of psychotherapeutic conditions. Coaching does not explore the past of a problematic behaviour to a psychotherapeutic depth. Coaching is about changing the behavioural consequences in the here and now into positive behavioural patterns that are useful to the coachee. Coaching can be used as a supportive measure alongside psychotherapy – this is clarified individually according to the situation.
